Mountain’s Edge, Toward Evening

Mountain’s Edge feels most itself as the day starts to let go.

The heat eases. Shadows stretch longer across wide streets. The edges of the neighborhood open outward — toward mountains, sky, and space that hasn’t yet been filled in.

There’s a sense of transition here. Between city and quiet. Between what’s built and what’s still open. Evenings carry a little more air, a little more pause.

People come home and stay home. Walks happen without destinations. Conversations don’t compete with noise.

Mountain’s Edge isn’t finished becoming what it will be.

And somehow, that’s part of its appeal.
