Where to Charge Your Tesla in Las Vegas — And the Parking Fee Trap

Charging and parking are two separate charges at most Strip resorts. Here’s what nobody tells you before you pull in.

Best On-Strip

LINQ Promenade

24 Superchargers, up to 250kW, 24/7. Most centrally located. Watch for the casino parking fee — it applies on top of charging costs for most guests.

No Parking Fee

Off-Strip Lots

Retail lots near South Decatur Blvd offer 250kW charging with zero parking fees. 5–10 minutes from the Strip. The smarter move for most visitors.

Henderson

M Resort

24 Superchargers in the southeast guest parking lot. Best option if you’re staying in Henderson rather than on the Strip.

Best Rates

Charge Off-Peak

~$0.27/kWh overnight vs ~$0.53/kWh daytime peak. If you have flexibility, charging before 8am or after 10pm saves real money.

Tesla Superchargers in Las Vegas are plentiful — but finding the right one takes local knowledge. The detail that catches most visitors off guard: charging costs and parking fees are completely separate charges at resort-based locations. You can pay for a full charge and still walk out owing the casino $25 for parking.

Strip Superchargers — What You’re Actually Dealing With

LINQ Promenade (Best Central Location)

3545 S Las Vegas Blvd. 24 Superchargers, up to 250kW, available 24/7, accessed via LINQ Lane off Flamingo Road. Most centrally located Supercharger on the Strip.

Read this before you pull in: Caesars Entertainment owns this lot. Many drivers get hit with a flat casino parking fee — often $20–$35 — the moment they pull through the gate, regardless of how briefly they charge. Caesars Rewards Platinum, Diamond, and Seven Stars members are exempt. Nevada residents get the first 3 hours free with a valid ID. Everyone else pays parking on top of charging. Budget for it or use an off-Strip option instead.

Las Vegas Blvd South

6509 S Las Vegas Blvd. 10 Superchargers, up to 150kW. Rates vary by time of day — roughly $0.27/kWh overnight and early morning, up to $0.53/kWh during peak daytime hours.

Bridger Avenue (Downtown)

701 Bridger Ave. 6 Superchargers, up to 150kW, at the base of a parking ramp. Good option if you’re spending time in the Arts District or Fremont Street area rather than the Strip.

Off-Strip Superchargers — The Smarter Move

If you want a real Supercharger without the casino parking fee, head slightly west of the Strip. Retail lots near South Decatur Boulevard — including locations on Twain Avenue and South Decatur — offer up to 250kW charging with zero parking fees. Typically 5–10 minutes from the Strip by car. For a stress-free charge with no fine print, these consistently beat the resort options.

Destination Chargers at Strip Hotels

These are slower than Superchargers — meant for overnight guests, not quick top-offs. Most require valet access rather than self-parking.

What Charging Actually Costs

Tesla Supercharger pricing in Las Vegas is time-of-day dependent. Expect roughly $0.27/kWh overnight and early morning, and up to $0.53/kWh during peak daytime hours. A typical full charge session runs $10–$25 depending on battery size and depletion level.

If you have scheduling flexibility, charging overnight or early morning is noticeably cheaper. The difference between peak and off-peak adds up over a multi-day visit.

If You Rented a Tesla

Increasingly common in Las Vegas given how many rental fleets have gone electric. A few practical notes:

Plan for 20–40 minutes at a Supercharger to add meaningful range — not an instant top-off. Check whether your rental company has a specific app or account setup for charging — some are linked to corporate accounts, others require your own payment method. And don’t wait until nearly empty on a weekend night — Strip-area Superchargers can have a wait during peak hours.

Heading out on a day trip? Charge before you leave the city. The Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, and Mount Charleston corridors have limited or no charging infrastructure. Railroad Pass in Henderson is a good final stop before heading south toward the dam.
