T-Mobile Arena Parking: The Real Guide (No Guessing, No Surge-Price Surprises)

VegasUnscripted · T-Mobile Arena Parking

T-Mobile Arena parking happens in the resort garages around it, because the arena has no garage of its own. Here’s how a 24-year local picks the right one, and when to skip the car entirely.

Quick Answer

Reserve event parking at least 7 hours ahead.

Reserved spots at Park MGM, New York-New York and Aria can’t be bought on site the night of the event. Miss the cutoff and you’re circling other garages.

Official Reserved Parking

Park MGM, NYNY or Aria

Sold through MGM Resorts on ParkMobile. Non-refundable, cashless, first come, first served.

Check Park MGM

T-Mobile Arena sits between New York-New York and Park MGM, just off the Strip, and it doesn’t have a parking garage. Every car at a Golden Knights game, UFC fight or concert parks in a resort garage nearby. Which garage you pick, and when you book it, decides whether your night starts smoothly or starts in a line.

How T-Mobile Arena Parking Works: The 7-Hour Rule

The arena sells Reserved Event Parking for three garages: Park MGM, New York-New York and Aria. It’s the closest, simplest option, and it comes with rules people miss:

  • The cutoff is 7 hours before the event. After that, reserved parking can’t be bought, including on site.
  • Passes are non-refundable and prices can change.
  • It’s cashless. Prepaid pass, card or contactless payment only.
  • Spaces are first come, first served inside each garage.

Two booking systems: The arena’s reserved parking runs through MGM Resorts on ParkMobile. SpotHero is a separate option for other garages nearby. Book the official pass first if you want the closest spot.

Pick Your Plan: The Best Move From Where You’re Starting

Starting FromBest Move
Park MGM, NYNY, Aria or ExcaliburWalk. These are the arena’s neighbors, and you skip parking and the garage exit line.
Mandalay Bay or LuxorRide the free tram to Excalibur, then walk. It’s the easy way to cover the south end of the Strip.
Center or north StripTake the Monorail or the Deuce. The Deuce runs the Strip around the clock, and an $8 24-hour pass covers the round trip.
Henderson, Summerlin or other locals areasTake the VGK Express on game nights. Four routes, $2 each way.
Driving inReserve Park MGM, NYNY or Aria early, and book by the 7-hour cutoff.

The Three Official Garages: Which One to Pick

GarageLocal Take
New York-New YorkThe arena’s direct neighbor and the rideshare drop-off, so the area gets busy before and after events.
Park MGMRight next to the arena on the other side. A good pick if you plan to eat or drink at Park MGM before the show.
AriaA short walk across the promenade. Pair it with dinner at Aria.

If you hold MGM Rewards tier status, check whether your parking benefit applies, since event-night rates can be handled differently from everyday self-parking.

Rideshare: Drop Off at NYNY, Pick Up at the Casino

Uber and Lyft drop-off is at the ground level of the New York-New York parking garage. For pickup, the arena sends guests to the nearest casino, New York-New York or Park MGM.

The exit hack: When a sold-out game lets out, everyone opens their app at the same moment. Walk into Park MGM, take a few minutes, and request your ride from there. You’ll usually beat the crowd and some of the surge.

Skip Driving: VGK Express, Monorail and the Deuce

VGK Express: On Golden Knights game nights, RTC runs four routes from different parts of the valley straight to the arena for $2 each way. If you live off-Strip, this is the cheapest way in.

Las Vegas Monorail: The arena lists the Monorail as an option. It runs along the east side of the Strip, so it works best if your hotel is near a station.

The Deuce: RTC’s Strip bus runs 24 hours. An $8 24-hour pass covers you there and back.

The T-Mobile Arena Bag Policy: Smaller Than You Think

This one surprises people who’ve been to stadiums with clear-bag rules. T-Mobile Arena’s limit is a small personal bag, and it doesn’t have to be clear.

ItemAt the Door
Small personal bag, purse, fanny pack or crossbody up to 9″ x 5″ x 2″Allowed (straps don’t count)
Clear stadium bag within 9″ x 5″ x 2″Allowed
Backpacks and larger bagsNot allowed
Laptops and tabletsNot allowed
Bottles of any kind, even emptyNot allowed
Cameras with detachable lenses, selfie sticksNot allowed

Bag check: Binbox lockers are on Toshiba Plaza next to the Allegiant Stage. Pricing starts at $20 per bag, it’s non-refundable and cashless, and you can’t get to your bag during the event. Bag check opens with the arena doors and closes 45 minutes after the event. Anything left after that goes to lost and found.

No re-entry: T-Mobile Arena doesn’t allow re-entry for any event, so you can’t run back to your car or locker mid-show.

Grand Prix Week: Plan Around the Race

The Las Vegas Grand Prix runs November 19–21, 2026, on a circuit that uses Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue near the arena. If you have tickets that week, expect evening road closures and heavy traffic around the Strip. Walk or take the Monorail if you can, and check transportation.f1lasvegasgp.com before you drive. For weekly road updates on your phone, text F1LV to 31996, the free alert service run by Clark County and the Grand Prix.

Sort Your Arena Night Before You Go

Reserved parking closes 7 hours out, and rooms next to the arena fill fast on big fight and playoff nights.
