Las Vegas Convention Center Parking: Lots, Rates & CES Tips

VegasUnscripted · Las Vegas Convention Center Parking

Las Vegas Convention Center parking depends on one thing: which show you’re attending. Most shows sell daily parking on campus. CES doesn’t sell any. Here’s how a 24-year local gets in either way.

Quick Answer

Check your show first, then pick your ride.

Most shows have paid, cashless daily parking. During CES, there’s no public parking at all, so plan on the Monorail, Vegas Loop or show shuttles.

Most Shows

Park On Campus

Daily lots, cashless, with in-and-out on a same-day receipt at recent shows. No overnight parking.

The Las Vegas Convention Center is huge: four halls spread across a campus off Paradise Road, just east of the north end of the Strip. Parking here isn’t hard on a normal show day. The mistakes happen when people park at the wrong end of campus, try to leave the car overnight, or show up to CES expecting a lot that doesn’t exist.

How Las Vegas Convention Center Parking Works: Lots by Hall

The campus has more than 5,000 parking spaces in color-named lots. Each show decides whether parking is paid and what it costs. At recent shows the rate has been $15 per day, with in-and-out privileges as long as you keep your same-day receipt.

  • It’s cashless. Cards and mobile payment only.
  • No overnight parking. Cars left overnight can be towed at the owner’s expense, even with a paid receipt.
  • Some lots are for loading. The Orange Lot is often reserved for exhibitor loading and unloading.
  • Lots fill on big days. Parking is first come, first served, so arrive early on opening day.

Two shows, one campus: When two events share the convention center, they share the parking too. Check your show’s own parking page, since rates and open lots change from show to show.

The Vegas Loop: Free Across Campus, Paid to Hotels

The Vegas Loop is an underground tunnel system that moves people around the convention center in Tesla vehicles. It’s the fastest way between halls, and it saves you from moving your car.

The Monorail: The Easiest Ride From the Strip

The Las Vegas Monorail stops right at the convention center. It runs along the east side of the Strip with stations at MGM Grand, Horseshoe/Paris, Flamingo, Harrah’s/The LINQ, Westgate and SAHARA. If your hotel is near one of them, it beats driving and parking on a busy show day. Our Las Vegas Monorail guide has fares, hours and the hotels at every station.

Local tip: When the show floor closes, the Monorail station and rideshare areas get crowded fast. If you can stay an extra 20 minutes for a coffee or a last booth visit, the crowd thins out.

CES Parking: There Isn’t Any

CES is the exception to everything above. CES 2027 runs January 6–9, and during CES there’s no public parking at the Las Vegas Convention Center or the Venetian Expo.

  • ADA parking is available at official CES hotels, first come, first served. Check with your hotel about its parking policy.
  • Free CES shuttles run from select official hotels to the convention center and the Venetian Expo. You need a CES badge to ride.
  • The Vegas Loop connects the convention center with Encore, Fontainebleau, Resorts World, SAHARA and Westgate for a small fare.
  • Getting dropped off: Drop-off at the convention center is only at the S2, C5 and West Hall entrances, and drivers have to stay with their cars. Rideshare pickup is outside South Hall between the Bronze Lot and the Renaissance, or in the Diamond Lot next to West Hall.
  • The Monorail serves the convention center but not the Venetian Expo.

Book your room early: CES fills the city. Hotels near the convention center and along the Monorail line go first, and rates climb as January gets closer.

If You Have to Drive: Private Lots Nearby

Private lots around the campus are a backup when official lots are full or closed, including a surface lot on Debbie Reynolds Drive across from the West Hall. Rates at private lots are set by each operator and usually run higher than the official lots on busy days, so reserve ahead when you can.

Where to Stay Near the Las Vegas Convention Center

Westgate: Westgate Las Vegas is the convention center’s next-door neighbor, with its own Monorail and Vegas Loop stations. For a convention trip, nothing is simpler.

Resorts World: Crockfords is the quiet, luxury option at Resorts World, which connects to the West Hall by Vegas Loop.

Center Strip: Any hotel near a Monorail station puts you one ride from the convention center. Search Strip hotels and look for one near the MGM Grand, Horseshoe/Paris, Flamingo or Harrah’s/The LINQ stations.
